It is after 9:00 p.m. and most consider this to be a bit late on a week night to walk into a restaurant requesting to be seated for service.Nevertheless, we end up at an establishment called “Not Your Average Joe’s” in Seekonk for the evening. The place is practically empty and yet this did not prevent us fromreceiving stellar service and a wonderful meal!
I love restaurants with an open grill. It gives the patron a chance see their food cooked and prepared before their very own eyes, helping to establish a level of openness and trust that is rare these days.
We both had the blackened salmon with pickled cabbage. I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. The service, food, pricing and open grill make it a winnable choice.
